A local band consisting of four talented musicians, all hailing from back east, who synchronistically and possibly serendipitously met in their new home town of TorC.

Burt Ferguson leads the band with his soulful vocal and guitar playing, while Chris Gennari adds dynamic lead guitar and lead vocal harmonies. David Ernteman holds down the low end with his bass playing and vocals, and Mike Mink keeps the beat on drums while adding sweet harmonies. Their unique blend of country and rock has made them a local favorite, and they are now starting to make waves beyond their small town.  The band recently announced they will be performing at the Turtleback Mountain Music Festival on June 10th. Individually, each member of The Consequences has a wealth of musical experience. Burt Ferguson was presented with an Up and Coming Star Award in Santa Fe by the NM TV and Film Hall of Fame, showcasing his raw talent and potential as a rising star in the New Mexico music scene. The Consequences are a band on the rise, with a sound that is all their own. They are sure to continue making a name for themselves in the local music scene and beyond.

Tudy & the Silver Bullet Band have been a staple of the Sierra County music scene since their inception in 1964. Founded by Tudy Romero at the tender age of 13, the band has undergone various transformations with different musicians joining and leaving over the years. However, their commitment to delivering unforgettable performances has remained constant.

As the house band for Freddie Torres’ establishments for over 50 years, including Snuffys, Silver Slipper, Ashbaughs, and Pinknot, Tudy & the Silver Bullet Band have left an indelible mark on the New Mexico music scene. The band has released two successful albums and performed all over the state, captivating audiences with their energetic and soulful sound. Tudy and the current lineup of Raymond Garcia, Eloy Padilla, and Amy Romero continue to play and honor the memory of lost band members, including talented rhythm guitarists Chino Perez and Eloy Armijo. The band has opened for renowned artists such as Rick Trevino and Mark Chesnutt, leaving a lasting impression on concert-goers. Grupo Dulzura is a four-member variety band that hails from Roswell, NM. The band was founded by Amanda, the lead vocalist and bass player, and her dad Andy, who also sings and plays guitar, about two years ago. Jesse is their keyboard player, and Oscar is their drummer. Amanda has been singing all her life in church, and she’s played with bands since she was 11 years old. Her dad has also been playing for years, and the band has generations of music in their blood. Music is a constant in Amanda’s life, and she hopes her son will learn to love and embrace it like she has.

Grupo Dulzura’s emphasis is on tejano music, which is a popular style of music that originated in Texas and Mexico. Amanda has been given opportunities to sing for some big names like Ricardo Castillo and Roberto Pulido. In addition to singing, Amanda also plays saxophone, and she has sung in her local churches. Music is Grupo Dulzura’s favorite pastime, and they love to entertain people with their God-given talent. They are a tight-knit group that works hard to create a unique sound that is all their own. Their performances are energetic and lively, and they always bring a sense of fun and joy to their audiences. Los Domingueros is a unique band that combines the love of Latin dance and ska under the lead of front-man Josue Urrutia. The band was started in August of 2021, following a car accident that put Josue on a soul-searching journey. After playing at a venue as a solo artist, he quickly assembled some musician friends to perform as a band, which sparked the birth of Los Domingueros.

The band has quickly become one of New Mexico’s hottest tickets, transcending genres and music scenes. Los Domingueros’ musical variety, bilingual fluency, and diversity allows them the flexibility to play with almost any band or genre. Their live shows are a combination of original music by Josue and unique spins on well-known Latin, ska, and reggae classics. In their short time together, Los Domingueros has played with local legends such as Mickey Cruz, Nosotros, Baracutanga, Keith Sanchez and Hooks and the Huckleberries, as well as national acts like Through The Roots and Frontera Bugalu. They have also shared the stage with legendary international bands such as The Toasters and The English Beat. Los Domingueros’ success has led to them being featured in Albuquerque The Magazine’s July 2022 edition and collaborating with Turquoise Trail Brewing to release a signature beer called Chela Chingona Mexican Lager.
